POSITION: GIS APPLICATION DEVELOPER

Job Description:

Qualified candidate will have a B.S or Master’s Degree in GIS, IT, Computer Science or related field.  Primary duties include:  GIS and database applications creation, analysis and management.  Provides technical support to GIS users, develops GIS methodology, design application and produces data product to meet needs.  Quality Assurance Quality Control (QAQC) of data and applications.

POSITION: GIS TECHNICIAN I

Job Description:

Qualified candidate will have a B.S. or Master’s Degree in GIS, Information Technology, Computer Science, Planning or related field.  5 years of direct experience using ArcGIS 9.X or higher.  Advanced knowledge in ArcInfo, ArcGIS Server, Spatial Analyst, and DBMS (SQL preferred).

POSITION: ASSISTANT ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENTIST

Job Description:

The successful candidate will have a minimum of a B.S. degree in environmental science , biology, or related field, and a minimum of 5 - 8 years of experience conducting wetland delineations and federal/state permitting. Experience in delineating wetlands using both the 1987 Corps Manual as well as familiarity with the Regional Supplements required. Additional experience in watershed science/planning, stream restoration practices, mitigation design, and GIS is desirable. Experience in the mining industry, particularly permitting, is desirable, but not necessary.

Our firm is seeking an experienced Certified Taxonomist for Hermitage or Canonsburg, PA location. POSITION: LABORATORY ASSISTANT

Our growing multi-disciplined civil engineering and environmental consulting firm is seeking a part time Laboratory Assistant for it's Hermitage, PA office location. The successful candidate must be detailed oriented, able to sit and/or stand for long periods of time, on-site training provided. We are seeking qualified professionals to fill a full-time position of Project Manager in our Southpointe (Canonsburg, PA) office.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of a B.S. degree in engineering, environmental science, geology, geography, or related field and a minimum of 10 years of experience in the engineering or environmental consulting field. Prior experience with direct client contact is required. Experience in project development, proposal writing, budgeting, project design, plan preparation, environmental permitting, mentoring junior staff, and marketing is required. The Project Manager will assume a leadership role for all project team personnel and maintain open communications with management, clients, and project team members, including administrative support personnel. Additional experience in watershed science/planning, stream restoration practices, mitigation design, and GIS is desirable. Experience in Marcellus Shale Gas industry, or related, is desired.
